Circus Contraption does not trap wild animals, but negotiates humane contracts with them. We provide a generous severance package should they opt in the future to go feral.

The wild cousins of our 6-foot Amazonian beetle are known to roll large balls of dung to entertain their young or attract a mate. We do not force unnatural acts upon our performers; the bizarre and perverse come naturally to these select freaks of nature.

Our animal friends and colleagues are treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Circus Contraption trainers use only love and positive reinforcement to enhance the natural talents of our animal performers.

Circus Contraption values diversity. Our non-discrimination policy extends not just to genus and species, but all the way up to kingdom. Sensitivity training is an integral part of the taming process for all animal stars. The plants that travel with the show are grown organically, and are eaten only at the natural end of their happy lives.

Our circus animals are the first in the U.S. to be unionized. To organize performers or exhibits in your area, contact the Theatrical, Zoological and Laboratory Local of PETA.

The whips, restraints, and fly swatters used by Circus Contraption are theatrical props used by the mutual consent of our human and animal partners. The swatter used by our beetle tamer couldn't hurt a fly.

Disclaimer: All of our animals are creatures of the imagination, rendering the aforementioned policies unenforceable. However, we are currently consulting inanimate-animal rights activists in an attempt to draft a puppet bill of rights.
