Yes, it's true. Circus Contraption crowns its 10th year with its first full-length production since Grand American Traveling Dime Museum. The SHOW to End All SHOWS presents a traditional American circus as it romps joyfully toward oblivion. featuring Pink Poodle Girls, A Ball-Balancing Seal Boy, A Real Mermaid, and an original music score by the incredible Circus Contraption Band! Previews run May 16-18, and the show runs May 22 through June 22 at our new space in Fremont. Visit our Events page for ticket information, or linger on our Shows page to read more about The SHOW to End All SHOWS. Are you a circus fan with a little time to spare? Then Circus Contraption needs you! We are seeking volunteers to help us with The SHOW to End All SHOWS, both with pre-production work (things like sewing and space set-up), as well as with running the show in May and June. We especially need help with costumes and house volunteers! See our Community page for details. New CD: The Half-Wit's Descent
Our fourth CD is finished! Prepare yourself for a brand-new dose of our peculiar brand of musical insanity. Thanks to all of you who came to celebrate the new arrival at our CD release party at Neumo's. It was a fantastic night. If you missed out, don't worry. The new CD, entitled The Half-Wit's Descent, will be available soon through CD Baby and Seattle-area record stores. But why wait? Listen to Track #1 right now: We're All Mad. Home sweet home
The circus has moved from Sand Point to Fremont! Thanks to the generous folks at Theo Chocolate for giving us a new home. (At 3400 Phinney Ave N, to be exact.) Read the reviews
Here's what the critics said about our last show, Circus Contraption's Grand American Traveling Dime Museum:
Music for your ears
The CD version of Grand American Traveling Dime Museum is waiting for you. It contains 75 minutes of outlandish music from the show of the same name. If you are a fan of our fabulous circus band, prepare to have your stripey socks knocked off once again! Need a copy of your own? Buy it online at CD Baby or visit a Seattle indie record store. (See the Music page for more details.) We love links
